The wide toe box is a game changer on long descents, my toes never felt squished. They stayed completely dry through a muddy creek crossing, which I honestly didn't expect from something this light. Ankle support is solid without feeling bulky.

I've worn these on three rainy hikes now and my socks stayed completely dry the whole time, which never happens with my old boots. The mid-cut height gives my ankles real support without feeling like I'm lugging cinderblocks up the trail, and my toes actually have room to wiggle on the descents.

My feet didn't feel crammed even after six miles of rocky climbs, and the waterproofing held up through a creek crossing without any squish. The ankle support is stiff enough to feel secure but broke in faster than I expected.
