Women's Vanish Carbon 2

I was worried a carbon plate would feel stiff, but these actually flex nicely through the toe-off. Took them on a 10-mile tempo run and my legs weren't wrecked the next day like usual.

The midsole foam is so soft underfoot that I almost forgot I was wearing a racing shoe, yet the full-length carbon plate still pushes me forward on every stride. The flexibility improvement is real—my foot transitions feel smoother than in my old pair, especially on longer tempo runs.

The carbon plate gives you that launch feeling on every push-off, and the flex is just right for when I need to pick up the pace. My legs feel way less beat up after a hard tempo run, which is a huge bonus.
